Equestrian teams for Hong Kong Olympic Games announced. Megan
Jones, Sonya Johnson, Shane Rose from Oz plus Lucinda and Clayton Fredericks
based in the UK. click here.
The riders are at present in camp with Chris Burton and Wendy Schaeffer
(at SIEC) and will fly out on 30th July to Hong Kong.
Good News! Riders no longer need to get THS for their events. Clubs
still need to register their competitions though, check the DPI site for
more information.

Twilight
Jumping in Indoor Arena SIEC: TWILIGHT JUMPING AT SIEC

EFA/NSWIS Twilight Jumping will continue at SIEC
There will be simulated crowd noise provided in the indoor arena to get
the horses used to crown atmosphere.
ENTER ON THE NIGHT. DPI requires Travelling Horse Statement required until
further notice. Dates are as follows on a THURSDAY unless advised here
of a change:
June
19th. July 3rd, August 21st, September 4th, October 9th, November 27th
Once day length permits, a course will be set outside as well as in the
indoor arena. The prorgramme will be as follows:
5.00pm
40cm then 60cm. Mounted course walk, Time 350m/min, one round
only Optimum time. A horse may be started more than once at a level. and
questions and answers from course designer David Lawrence.
6.30-7.00 ....80cm ............AM7
7.30............ 1.00m
8.30............ 1.10-1.15m
Costs $10 per round: $6 ground fee to SIEC per horse
Conditions: Riders should be members of EFA or Associated Club. (Please
supply your membership number). Day membership available to all others
including Pony Club riders at the cost of $20 This
is an EFA, NSW Branch initiative. All funds go to the EFA and are to be
put towards the support of the on-going success of Jumping at SIEC.
